  • Community project to transform urban spaces to grow food and increase biodiversity. Increasing our connection with the natural world, where our food comes from and each other.
There are many co-benefits; Working outside with others can improve wellbeing and fitness; opportunities to learn new skills such as gardening, building containers and how to use the food grown; increasing the diversity of plants in the environment supports wildlife by introducing new habitats; increases in food resilience by decreasing dependence on fragile food supply chains; enabling more people to have access to locally grown food without the use of chemicals; creating a space for people to have conversations; connecting and supporting people.
